Fiddle faddle, biddle baddle, a stomping beat to the floor.
A tune of old rings well, as I listen on for more.
With horns of cattle, and strings strung tight
with melodies sung tonight,
Folk music is revived, to this writers delight.
Tunes of passion, tunes of old,
played by those whose hearts shine gold.
I find it wonderful that as I had greeted Mora with the "Vinterfest", I shall be leaving with fresh music in my head, played by those folk musicians who maintain timeless traditions from this areas past. I will take with me more then just classroom education, for the history of this place holds tight in my mind, and now I can understand the excitement expressed by my parents when they heard I was going to the "original Mora", for which the Minnesota town Mora has its' origens.
