Lights flare and I am swept away in a torrent of melodious sound, filling the entire hall of Mora’s State Church. Endless compilations of notes, streaming from an energetic orchestra work to not only fill the ears but the eyes, as they are accompanied by radiant lights. Everywhere I look I see brightly lit ceilings seeming to glow from arch to arch. Dancing colors moving to the smooth rhythms of the orchestra, and soon I am lost in thought. The music brings forth moods, and images, as I found myself searching for the message of the music. The sadness of Joan of Arcs farewell song sung by a fiery headed opera singer, or the excitement portrayed by the final quintet were more than enough to make me feel moved by the music.
By now you may be curious as to what I am talking about, for there is nothing on the beginning of the Mora trip that spoke of some whimsical musical piece. This was actually a last minute invitation that led me to “Vinterfest”.
Not only did I find myself enjoying the cultural music, but I also found the setting to be more than appropriate, as the Mora State Church was a wonder in itself. A grand hall filled with high arches, walls of paintings portraying various moments in Christian history, and even gold covered objects such as angels seated throughout the hall. Yes this indeed was a wonder to my small town eyes, and I look forward to attending Sunday service in the future!
This I believe is just the beginning of what looks to be a wonderful stay in Mora.

You are a poet, Tyler, and Mora church, both its interior and exterior, deserves to be described in poetical terms.
